So guess who was all kinds of awesome last night? Bartolo Colon. Guess who else? Craig Hansen and Dan Kolb. Yeah, I was surprised, too. Craig recorded quite a few strikeouts in his two innings of work, and Dan Kolb didn't screw the whole thing up. Oh, how I forgot about this fun little toy! This translator, which was one of the joys of my high school years, will put whatever text you like into a garbled mass of letters and numbers that appears to have been written by a middle schooler sending an IM or a really bad fanfiction writer.

So the big news today is that Jacoby decided to hire Scott Boras as his agent. At first I was stunned - how could such a nice kid hire someone like that? Then I read this comment on the Globe's discussion boards:
